Mayor of kingstown s3
Motion Graphics toolkit
For Mayor of Kingstown Season 3, the challenge was to create a visual identity that captured the raw, unrelenting tension of the show’s narrative. As Jeremy Renner reprises his role, the stakes rise, and the story dives deeper into the harsh realities of power, survival, and moral ambiguity.
Drawing inspiration from the gritty world of incarceration, we crafted a design that reflected what an inmate might see: stark concrete walls, cold metal-framed beds, and industrial textures. Using Cinema 4D and Redshift Renderer, we brought these elements to life in a 3D environment that felt immersive, visceral, and true to the show’s tone.
The result was a bold, textured visual package that amplifies the story’s intensity and sets the stage for a gripping new season.
animated key art
For Mayor of Kingstown Season 3, we took the static key art and elevated it into a dynamic visual experience using After Effects. Our goal was to retain the gritty, intense tone of the artwork while adding motion that deepened its emotional impact.
By layering textures, creating subtle camera movements, and animating elements like clouds, snowfall, fire, and smoke effects, we gave the art a sense of depth and realism. The result was an atmospheric piece that felt alive, mirroring the tension and drama of the show.
This animated key art became a versatile asset, used across trailers, digital campaigns, and social media, ensuring the story's tone resonated with fans before the season even began.
